A HIGHLY DETAILED COLLECTOR'S FIGURE

| Although this figure was on the expensive side, it is perfect for the serious action figure toy collector. It bears a great facial likeness to the character, and is complete with all the details of her weapon and Nav'i attire. My 9-yr.-old is very happy with it & has no complaints (and after seeing the movie 5 times, he would notice if something was "off")! |
Must-have for Avatar collectors

| I still cannot fathom why this Movie Masters figure ranges from thirty to one hundred-sixty dollars, and not fifteen like the other ones. The articulation and detail make it a great figure to have, and it is a great addition to any Avatar figure collection. The bow and arrow are fragile, and the plastic string around the bow has to be cut off carefully, as the bow is very thin. The eyes are wrong, but the overall detail and articulation makes it a truly nice figure. This must be a rare figure, because the price hasn't gone down since it came out. I recommend this one for Avatar collectors, but also think the price should decrease. |
Love Neytiri !!!

| My four year old grandaughter loves Neytiri. She plays with it and the rest of them everyday. It was a great buy and well made. Looks just like Neytiri in the movie Avatar. Amazon made a mistake and sent Jake instead of Neytiri and it was the easiest return ever. I emailed Amazon and told them and they fixed it right away. Neytiri was at my door the next day and they sent UPS to pick up Jake. I was very pleased with the transaction !!! |
The eyes are all wrong.

For the price listed on this page, a 6-inch plastic action figure better be entirely flawless and be able to make dinner and answer the phone. I really like this action figure but
1)why is it so expensive? The others in the series cost around the same to make. How come this one is so outrageously priced? Not getting it until that price comes down.
2) Why does such an expensive action figure not have the eyes done properly and the face more accurately representative of Neytiri? The Na'vi's eyes were large and yellow. This figure's eyes are neither large nor yellow.
Beautifully done? Yes. Worth the price? Nope. I'll wait. |

I ordered this, and got it in good condition. The thin plastic for the bow wasn't bent like on the smaller version. Everything else was also in good condition. If you're a collector, then be aware that it's a pain to set up the bow in the hands. Also I have found that it is very hard to set her up in a position without her falling over 5 minutes later, so be sure to put her in a position where she has a good center of gravity. Articulation is pretty good, however the head is hard to move, due to the hair, and the legs I find can be somewhat annoying to move. The likeness is disputable. The eyes are obviously too small, and aren't in anyway yellow. The face is also a bit small, but all other accessories on her seem to be in the right place, and correctly painted. As for durability I would say she's capable of taking some falls, but I would say the limbs are prone to breaking if bent.
Now the overview:
PROS:
Has dots that are glow-in-the-dark like in the movie
Is probably better than the smaller version if you ask me
Is nicely painted
Articulation is okay.
Cons:
Likeness isn't super
Bow might be bent in some cases(mine wasn't but who knows with yours)
Falls/tips over a lot
Hard to put bow in a good pose |
